Just one more day to the Superstar Finals, and I found something really nice and meaningful, which I totally agree with, by someone who left a note in the Superstar Forum, .

My personal definition of a:
S pecial connection with the audience and the public
U nique voice and personality
P repared adequately for every performance
E nthusiastic about their interest and performance
R eady to take up any challenges
S trong threshold level to take comments and criticisms positively
T actful and thoughtful
A bility to touch people with the feelings of the song(s) and present your stage presence beautifully
R eal to yourself and your fans, be confident in your ability

And yes... Happy Teachers' Day! =) Gave handmade cards to Miss Kel-li Chia, Miss Linda Chan, Mrs Lim and Xie lao shi.

Miss Chia (had a hard time finding her) gave me a big, broad smile and said "Thank you!"
Miss Chan exclaimed, "oohh, thanks!" and said, "change to be an English Teacher la" (I wrote that I hope to be like her one day, returning to RV to teach, not as an English Teacher but as a Chinese Teacher.)
Mrs Lim smiled, said Thank you and told me to "Work harder ok?"
Xie lao shi, "Xie Xie!"

Ms Ek's gift to us: RV girls are allowed to wear earrings! =)

just dropping a quick note by...
the first week of preliminary examinations has passed.
i did my O level EL Oral too on Wednesday.. quite alright, I think.
Subjects completed: EL, HCL, SS and Maths D

and ya.. expressing my anger, alright, for the Superstar results. yucky man. totally agree with lay on my tagboard. never mind, junyang will continue to do well.

one more thing, I guess we must be more discreet in speech now after this morning's warning.

last week of the term 3 is here soon.

Weeelll... I was quite upset about the lastest Superstar's results.
I was hoping for Wei Lian to be out this round, because I really hope to see Derrick and Junyang competing together next week. but since Derrick is out, i guess my wish would never come true. really disappointed. :(
I just think that that Derrick shouldn't get out. AT ALL.
And Wei Lian shouldn't get in. AT ALL.
He just can't sing.
One of the biggest mistakes is to think that Junyang is a sure IN.
Now, the tables are turned around.
There is a HUGE possiblity that Junyang might be kicked out as Wei Lian proved that he is having a very strong fan base outside.
Hopefully, Derrick's fans can really get onto Junyang's side.
We MUST help Junyang get in smoothly.
Not forgetting Kelly too.

Just visited Fung Min's blog and read about how down and depressed she's feeling now.
I guess everyone is feeling sooooo damn stressed up, surrounded by books and revision exercises that it's hard to do some preparation on our own.
Maybe this can help.
Give yourself positive pep talks each day. Wake up to a new morning, smile into the mirror before brushing your teeth and say that "it's a beautiful morning and I'm going to achieve something great!"
