All came in a hurricane! Sumiko Tan's getting married ((:
I read the entire article, smiling.
Happy for her that she's bidding her singleton era goodbye & moving on to a lifetime of bliss with Mr. Right.
you're the one who can bring her happiness.

While only drinks are stated, they do provide buffet dinner as well. According to mentor, Singapore's branch isn't the most welfare in this area. HK has such functions every Friday! Aren't they awesomely generous with the budget?

This blog entry comes at the end of my 3rd week at Macquarie. Never fails to amaze me how time passes at supersonic speed. I'm soon into my 4th week once the new week comes.
The pantry is my favourite place in the office every morning. I get my daily fix of wholesome cereal breakfast in the office and retreat to a quiet and cosy corner to read the newspapers. Happens at a time when the office has minimal people around.
overview of the pantry. i head straight for the top row every morning.
pool table and tv screen
milk, fruits and the tuna that I packed from home are things that I reach for in this huge fridge.
Getting use to this job progressively. Was lost & afraid in the beginning, feeling clumsy while seeking out in the unknown. But mentor has been kind and patient with all my questions, maybe at times exasperated, yet still chides in a gentle and laugh-it-off manner at all the little little silly mistakes that I make and settles it all for me. Throws me Meji Dark Chocolates once in awhile and tells me not to worry and 'don't stress la'. Drops smses to thank when I stay back to clear extra work.
the additional icing? Emails that pop out from sis, gh & dor perk me up from all the work rush. I feel all the encouragement and love which keep me going for the day. When work is relatively light, I revisit every single email and find myself smiling at the things I read.
Tiring, yes, but life remains fruitful. Especially when I fulfil what I promise myself.

Contribution #1: checked.
Contribution #2: my treat for the whole family for a good Father's Day dinner, in celebration of the occasion as well as the sale of my painting AND getting a job at Macquarie.
I hope to continue making significant contributions. Allow me time to show it.
I've my family to thank for, for everything that I've in life. I'm nothing without them.
I'll do anything to make you happy, to put a smile on your face. Maybe you don't know, but your happiness means a lot to me. Really, just as long as you're happy and well, everything is worth it.

If the end of the world was tomorrow, I don't know what I've been living for.

fatigue and dusk are not excuses to stay inactive, not when one's butt is on the chair for about 8 hours a day. always make time and effort.
This is something I
want to do.
Completely revolutionised lifestyle. It's hard work but it's very worth it.
