Dear Dor,
You have been the sweetest and kindest soul ever, never failing to touch me with your sincerity towards others. I always and truly feel that it's a blessing for me to meet you. I'm grateful for such an angel to be in my life.
I have been on the receiving end of your encouragement and love that I feel almost immediately better after talking to you. All the "jiayou ser", "you can do it" give me immense motivation. You were there to listen to my woes and insecurities. Seeing that someone understood and felt the same way as I do really helped take away bad feelings.
Loving, sweet and innocent - qualities that define you. And you know that I love you for who you are.
On your 21st birthday, I wish for you to enjoy an endless stream of happiness with your family, Nigel, friends and loved ones.
Love,
Ser

Day 5:
It was last minute shopping at Platinum before checking out and heading straight for the airport. We only had slightly under 2 hours to comb the 2nd floor. So glad that we managed several good purchases (: Last dash for the crepe, but it disappointed.
This was before eating it. It was cold and soggy.
Folks went off on their own to explore the vicinity and grab some essentials.
Time to leave for the airport
This Santa Claus can move! A parent brought her toddler near it and upon seeing it move, the baby cringed and gave a cry! So cute (:
Had lunch at Black Canyon at the airport.
This salad was horrendously spicy that baby sis and I gave up eating. Only Jie could finished it.
But this pork burger was yums! I'm missing it already
Very last photo in BKK
Touched down and home sweet home (:

Day 4:
Woke up to this morning view outside the window
After breakfast, it was first to Platinum for some good shopping. Folks and us went on our separate ways again after fixing a time to meet for lunch
Baby sis clipped the tail on and was so happy about it haha
Walked over to A&W for lunch. Stopped by to have some waffles.
nom nom! Folks love the curly fries
On our way back to Platinum, we stopped for kebab wrap.
Satay next at Platinum's food court. Came along with toasted bread to dip into the peanut sauce
Headed to Wat Traimit after lunch to see the Golden Buddha image
We took some time to pray to the Golden Buddha and asked for his blessings
Took a Polaroid for the folks before we left
Left for Siam Paragon and we decided to take the train there
Took the MRT first. Just tap the black plastic coin token (like how you tap ezlink card) to gain access through the gates.
Had to change over to BTS (like our LRT) in order to get to Siam Paragon
Headed for Gourmet Market for grocery shopping!
Spotted Khong Guan biscuits on the shelves
Needless to say, I swept like 60 plus boxes (I think it's nearing 80, I lost count!) of Pocky off the shelves >.<
Done with grocery shopping, so time for dinner! By this time, everyone was famished!
Dinner at the food court in Paragon.
Headed to MBK after dinner to get Mum's polo shirts
We saw a mini car exhibition right outside MBK's exit before we left. Baby sis and her new shades.
Ended the night packing our stuff in the hotel.

Day 3:
We woke up earlier because we booked a half day guided tour to Grand Palace.
Daily breakfast at hotel. Parents are happy with the breakfast buffet spread given the standard of a budget hotel.
Hit the road on a mini van with the guide and we passed some war memorial monuments
Grand Palace in sight
bought tickets and entered. haha papa took this pic of me
sooooooo many tourists
Solid eh!
Shining gold architecture
Look at the sun. It's crazily hottttt
Colonial buildings with a touch of Thai architecture on the roof.
Had lunch at MBK's food court
Food courts in Thailand issue a card before you enter it. It's works on either a credit or debit system. For this food court, you order food using this card and pay upon exit. Marche kind of concept. For others, you deposit any amount into the card and claim the balance upon exit.
We three decided to leave the food court after surveying the place and sneaked in Subway because the food prices in the food court was crazily overpriced! Folks just settled for fried rice there.
Was snacking time after lunch! Had mini waffles and..
..this! Looks like fruits? It's actually jelly outer covering with bean paste inside! A different rendition of ang ku kuay. Pretty nice!
After lunch, it was shopping at MBK's departmental store. It was having EOY sale. We swept tons of Triumph with their crazily low price. Best buy of the entire trip. haha papa went to Mac to sleep while waiting for us to be done.
Shopping break at Starbucks
Dinner was settled in Pratunam Night Market before calling it a day
