YEA! I got an A for my watercolour painting today!!! haahahx... so happy! Been a long time since I scored an A in watercolour!!! lalalala~ =) Mr Yap's words to me were very encouraging! He said that I had made tremendous improvements over the last 2 years!!! =)
Went to my cousin's engagement lunch right after art class. Shockingly, I saw her crying once I stepped into my grandmother's house. My father, mother, aunt and sister were crowding around her, talking to her. I found out that it's because of
that friend again. The story goes like this: My cousin has a very good friend from polytechnic who
kindly encouraged her to study university part time while working. So, my cousin took her advice and did what she said. After a few years of hard work, she finally graduated. This
GREAT FRIEND of hers was sooooooo damn jealous as my cousin has a higher education than her, which means higher pay, that she started giving my cousin a cold shoulder. The worst thing is, they are both working in the same company and have to face each other everyday. My cousin was so depressed that she feared going to work everyday. THE LAST RESORT: She resigned and left the company about a month ago. JUST BECAUSE OF HER FRIEND! She just can't seem to face a lost friend that she once held on to so dearly. The hurt caused is so deep.
This is so damn ironic right? When reality steps in, no matter how strong your friendship bond is, things just starts to fall out of place. Are our relationship with people so fragile that the ties cannot withstand strong blows? The stange thing in this situation is that she was the one who came up with that idea, yet jealous when things went out of her imagination - a higher education compared to her poly diploma. Sad, really sad. I hope I will never ever have to experience such pain caused by a good friend.
